Device configurations define a single external device such as a PNA or FCM. All the keys in a device configuration uniquely define that particular external device. Since all communications to a device happen using SCPI commands over TCP/IP, every device (except an individual switch) must at a minimum define the name and IP address of the device (the SCPI default port is 5025).
